Unique Breathing Chair By Wu Yu-Ying

New shape of sitting come to us. the young designer Wu Yu-Ying gives us the new choice. The form is very unique, such as a box featured by some holes and make it look like breathing. the designer said that she got inspiration in making this sitting from a biology textbook. there, she saw the image of the cross-section of a tree’s cambium.

In early, she feel confused about the material to make it that chair. After, she did some pre-test, she decided to to design a chair using a material which has the versatility. The unique thing of this chair is, if we sit it, the form of the chair will change. The sitting look like alive. when see people sit that, we also can look that the chair is so comfortable.
