Plastic Lamps From d-VISION At Salone del Mobile 2010

At Salone del Mobile 2010, there are many unique lamps from various designers in d-VISION booth. All products are made by plastic. It is caused by the work is sponsored by Keter Group, an Israeli manufacturer of plastic products. There are two plastic lamps which get much attention, the Poly lamp and the Organic lamp. Unfortunately, there is not founded the designer of these products. As information, d-VISION is internship program which is established in 2005. It belongs to Mr. Sami Sagol, owner and chairman of Keter group. The program is fill missing link between academy and industry. The aim of this program is cultivating excellence and training future leaders in the fields of industrial design.

Back to these two products. There are two unique products. First is Poly lamp. in white color, this lamp look unique such as covered by randomly polyethylene. The inspiration of this lamp comes from a mass amount of plastic which are not used any more in some factories. The materials of this lamp are Polyethylene and metal frame. To make this lamp, extrusion combined with hand made technique. Then, second is organic lamp. The materials of this lamp are polypropylene and aluminum. this lamp is offered in red color. The technique of making is external heating molding.
