Job Description: Responsible for leading design efforts and team, including design direction and client management. Skilled at different functions of design, technical, and management of people. Some essential job functions would include responsible for client contact and communicating goals and responsibilities to project team, takes initiative on strategic issues including design direction and providing quality management, develops and coordinates detailed design concepts with ability to develop functional requirements and project-design criteria, demonstrates understanding of the architectural design process and integration of design concepts/ with ability develop design element components, coordinates integration of basic engineering systems into the overall project design, responds to technical implications of design decisions, promotes firm and project goals of excellence in design, execution and sustainability, implements code, accessibility and zoning analysis, assists with design and technical coordination among disciplines (architecture, branded environments, planning and strategies), performs tasks according to Perkins+Will Project Delivery Manual, facilitates program development with project team, responsible for project design budget and cost control, prepares design presentations, assuming design lead in client and owner presentations, and directs, organizes, mentors junior staff. Requirements include: Professional Degree in Interior Design or related discipline 10+ years Strong design portfolio Advanced experience in all phases and aspects of a project including programming and planning Strong competency in interior design specifications, calculations and industry standards, and application of building codes and specifications Strong graphic, 3D visualization and computer drafting skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Demonstrates collaborative and professional work ethic LEED AP or within 6 months of hire NCIDQ Great company to work for!!!
