Requirements
A Territory Director is……
Territory Directors are leaders who recruite, develop, train and motivate a team of interior decorators. Many Territory Directors are in their second career and bring business experience from complementary professions including business management, education, finance, IT, law, real estate and sales.
A Decor Designer is……
The Decor Designer franchisee is a person who is friendly, sociable, likes interacting with everyone, is comfortable with networking, is focused on excellence, and likes helping clients “Love The Space They’re In.” Some franchisees have accreditation and degrees in interior design, fine art, textiles and clothing, and other creative fields. Some have no formal design education. All have an eye for color, balance and design.

Step 1: First Steps Overview
Get introduced to the world of franchising and Décor&You. We invite you to attend our next “First Steps” 90-minute presentation and discussion on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 6 pm in Columbus, Ohio. Join others who are exploring the opportunities at Decor & You.
Step 2: First Meeting
You will gain a more detailed understanding of our mutual goals, needs and expectations, and get answers to your questions. There are several resources presented during Step 2, forms to complete and a one-on-one discussion with our field consultant. Together you will explore the franchise models in more depth and get a clear picture of investment opportunities, commitments and potential returns.
Step 3: Meet the Decor&You Team
During Step 3, you will talk to and question Decor&You franchisees to get f irst-hand information about what makes them succeed. You also will continue to carefully evaluate financial information and begin creating your financial model.
Step 4: Be our guest at Discovery Day
During Step 4, our discussion will grow more serious as we decide whether we can commit to making you a part of our franchise family. We will invite you to be our guest at Discovery Day at corporate headquarters in Connecticut, a day filled with information on a range of topics including marketing, training, technology, coaching and support. By the end of Discovery Day, we will both know if there is a good fit!
The Decor&You Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) will be provided for your review. We will explore the financial profile you began developing during previous steps, and help you analyze your assumptions and projections.
Step 5: The Partnership Decision
This is the final step of Discovery where, together, we evaluate whether a Decor&You franchise is the right path for you. We both have all the information we need to decide whether it makes sense to proceed, pick a training date and formalize our commitments to work together to build a successful business!
